The manuscript of John Keats' 'Ode to a Nightingale'

"Was it a vision, or a waking dream?  Fled is that music:—Do I wake or sleep?" - John Keats, from Ode to a Nightingale

Nightingale Editions is a new imprint of Blackbird Digital Books. The Nightingale, of course, is a bird which sings in the darkness, and is considered symbolic of beauty and immortality.

Here at Nightingale Editions, we aim to publish unique, original voices, voices which will endure. We believe in nurturing writers' careers and will publish only those who are deeply committed to their craft, to honing their own talent and thrilling readers with their 'song'.

We will publish high quality and literary fiction. Founded by authors Jacqui Lofthouse and Stephanie Zia, we respect authors and the work they do. We are innovative and modern in our approach, but traditional in the high standards we set ourselves.
